1. Strictly necessary
These make the service work. They cannot be switched off, and under the ePrivacy rules they do not require consent.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Cookie, HttpOnly | Keeps you signed in to your dashboard. Cannot be read by JavaScript | On sign-out, or 14 days |
| CSRF / origin protection | Cookie | Stops another site submitting forms as you | Session |
| booklino_consent | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we stop asking | Until you clear it |
We record your analytics choice in local storage rather than a cookie deliberately: setting a tracking cookie in order to remember that you refused tracking is an own goal.
2. Analytics, only if you accept
One privacy-friendly analytics measurement that counts page visits so we know which pages are useful. It is not loaded at all until you press Accept. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics code runs.
- It does not follow you to other websites.
- It does not build an advertising profile.
- It is not used on your customers’ booking pages.
3. On a business’s booking page
When someone books an appointment, their browser may store their name, phone number and email on their own device so the next booking is pre-filled. This is local storage, not a cookie; it is never sent to us as tracking data, and the “not you?” control on the booking form clears it immediately.
Booking-management links are never stored in the browser, never put in a web address that could be shared or logged, and never passed to analytics.
4. Changing your mind
You can change your analytics choice at any time. Nothing is permanent.
You can also clear site data in your browser settings, or use your browser’s “do not track” and blocking features. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies will stop you being able to sign in.
5. More
What we do with personal data generally is in the Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected].
